About Masling Industries

Masling Industries specialises in component overhaul and repair of accessories fitted to turboprop and turboshaft engines. We operate from purpose-built facility at Cootamundra Airport in New South Wales.

The name Masling has been associated with Australian aviation for more than 50 years. From the mid 1950s, the late Jack Masling OAM (granted for services to the Australian aviation industry) worked to become a true pioneer in Australian commuter aviation.

With distributorships for Cessna, Piper and Embraer, the company developed a country passenger network in the 1970s and through acquisition of another operator, became Australia’s fourth largest carrier.

After the sale of airline arm of the business in 1981 the decision to enter the arena of specialised aircraft component overhaul and repair was made. A new facility was established at Cootamundra airport and opened in 1982.

We’ve been a part of the TAE Group since November 2008.
