Stores Personnel- Adelaide

Our world class maintenance facility in Adelaide is Australia’s No 1 business, general aviation and aerial agricultural (BGA) turboprop engine and component maintenance organisation.

We are currently seeking Stores Personnel with varying levels of experience to join our team. Are you a Stores Officer with proven experience in warehouse/stores/logistics processes or someone eager to start out your career? We have a number of positions within our Stores team based at Adelaide Airport. In these roles you will provide efficient and effective receipt and dispatch of aviation component parts to the operational workshops.

The successful experienced candidate will hold these desired skills, competencies and experience:

  • Comprehensive goods receipting and dispatch knowledge is essential;
  • High level of computer skills and the ability to learn new inventory specific software;
  • Knowledge and experience in stock control and stock take processes;
  • Knowledge and experience in handling dangerous goods;
  • Experience in the coordination of freight;
  • Forklift Licence (advantage but not essential);
  • Valid and current Australian Drivers Licence;
  • Broad knowledge and experience working in controlled/regulated maintenance/engineering working environment;
  • Demonstrable knowledge/experience in providing quality internal & external customer service;
  • Proven ability to work to outcomes whilst ensuring highest quality;
  • Good knowledge of WHS;
  • Qualifications in materials management an advantage;
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry also an advantage.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team;

Avionics Technician- Adelaide

Our avionics business offers high-quality MRO services for aircraft avionics, radio and electrical components, including repairs to board level.

We are currently seeking experienced Avionics Technicians with the qualities to perform in a dynamic work environment. Working with the avionics team you will troubleshoot, repair and provide bench level maintenance to aircraft avionic systems.

Skills/Competencies/Experience:

  • Experience in the following electronic areas:
    • VHF/HF radio systems (RF); and/or
    • Instrument and/or Gyroscope and Electrical Components
    • Electronic assembly and harnessing
    • ESD handling & soldering
    • Interpreting schematic diagrams; and
    • Trouble shooting analogue and digital circuitry to component level
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the electronics repair industry to component level.
  • Avionics systems knowledge an advantage

Expressions of Interest- Electrical/Electronic Technician- Adelaide

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for Electrical/Electronic Technicians with the qualities to perform in a dynamic work environment. In this position you will troubleshoot, repair and provide maintenance to aircraft electronic & electrical systems.

Desired Skills/Competencies/Experience:

  • Knowledge of DC Motor & DC Generation principles
  • Alternator and motor repair & overhaul experience
  • Electrical and electronic theory and principles
  • Proven ability to interpret electrical schematics
  • Experience in looming and harnessing
  • Machining experience
  • Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Trade certificate in auto electrical is an advantage
  • Proven ability to work to outcomes whilst ensuring highest quality

An exciting opportunity awaits for an Engineering Project Manager to play a key role in developing and delivering complex, gas turbine engine test cell engineering projects in line with time, costs and quality targets. You need to be a solutions oriented person with strong project experience and superior communication and interpersonal skills.

You must have:

  • Extensive practical experience with Project Management, demonstrating your ability for delivering projects within their set timeframe and to budget by working with or directing others to meet the requirements of the project.
  • Technical or design experience in an Aviation, Defence, Construction or related engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in bid development, financial modelling and financial control.
  • Ability to lead, communicate, organise and administer teams of multi-skilled personnel
  • Highly developed numeric and analytical skills including the ability to identify common trends in complex/disparate data
  • Australian citizen with ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance
  • Professional Engineering and/or Project Management qualifications are desirable

Expressions of Interest- Gas Turbine Engine Technicians- Adelaide

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for experienced Gas Turbine Engine Technicians to join our engine maintenance team based at Adelaide Airport. You must have proven experience in heavy engine maintenance as well as the qualities to perform in a dynamic work environment.

Skills/Competencies/Experience:

  • Comprehensive engine overhaul knowledge and experience;
  • Demonstrable knowledge of strip, detailed inspection and assembly of the gas turbine engine;
  • Experience in carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance work in accordance with OEM documentation;
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements;
  • The ability to maintain documentation of work in progress and composition of maintenance worksheets;
  • Experience in working with both manual and automated tools and equipment;
  • Machining and general engineering knowledge would be an advantage;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced role, along with a strong work ethic and sense of integrity;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of accuracy and the ability to read technical data;
  • Capable of working independently with a continuous improvement approach;
  • TPE331, PT6A, H80 engine knowledge would be an advantage.
